Summer 2023 College Programs:
Collegiate Logbook Sculling
$450
Train independently in club sculling boats, after successfully passing a written and practical captain’s test. This program allows athletes to focus on their skills in small boats, and make their own training schedule. Athletes who are interested in racing at regattas being attended by other GBR programs should indicate their interest to the rowing director. Please note, this is not a coached program.
Collegiate Team Boat Training
$650
This coached program will train three mornings a week in conjunction with our Masters Competitive Team. Athletes will primarily train in 4’s and 8’s, but should have comfort and familiarity with sculling as well, for days when numbers aren’t even or a coxswain is not available. Racing opportunities will be available at local regattas – racing fees will be assessed separately from program tuition.
Collegiate High Performance Sculling
$1200
Athletes interested in high performance sculling should contact the rowing director for more information about the application process.
Great Bay Rowing has a long history of collaboration with the University of New Hampshire Men’s & Women’s Rowing Team, including sharing boathouse locations in both Dover and Durham. Athletes from the UNH team who stay in New Hampshire over the summer are encouraged to continue their training independently with our Collegiate Summer programs.
