Looking for a way to stay active during New Hampshire Spring Break (April 27th to May 1st)? Come join Great Bay Rowing for a week long Learn to Row Camp, designed to introduce athletes to the sport in a fun, safe, low pressure environment. Perfect for anyone who is curious about the sport, or who is considering joining the team this summer or fall!
Camp will be held at the Boathouse at Jacksons Landing in Durham NH. There is parking available for parents to wait after dropping off their athlete, or downtown Durham and several coffee shops are a short trip away.
The high school and middle school camps will run at the same time, but will be working as two separate groups, so that athletes are learning with their age group peers.
Athletes must self attest to their ability to swim. Each day athletes will practice both on the erg (rowing machine) and in stable recreational boats, developing their skills both on and off the water. Each athlete should wear close fitting clothing (no cotton please!), sneakers, layers appropriate to the weather, and bring a water bottle.
